6x MCDONALDS RESTAURANTS

MLEI undertook the structural engineering design for the development of steel framed restaurant buildings of 6x new McDonalds restaurants across South Australia and Victoria, incorporating specialised Light Gauge Steel (LGS) systems.
Our achievements:
- Our approach revolutionised traditional structural approaches by maximising LGS utilisation and minimising the use of hot-rolled steel, resulting in substantial cost savings and construction timeline improvements.
- Our design structural systems leveraged the efficiency of LGS, to achieving a balance between structural integrity, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- We delivered complete engineering documentation, including comprehensive calculations and third-party certification for all LGS structural components in compliance with local standards and McDonald's corporate requirements.
- We provided ongoing technical support throughout construction, rapid responses to field inquiries and hands-on problem-solving for installation teams, ensuring smooth project execution across various sites.
