Design of bus stop relocations

MLEI was engaged by DIT to undertake a series of detailed design and detailed documentation of bus stop relocations – including on Payneham Road, Portrush Road, and Glen Osmond Road.

Our project scope included:

  • Project Initiation – site inspection and review of existing information
  • Preliminary Design – drawing showing 3 proposed locations of the bus stops
  • Detailed Design – of the DIT agreed locations of the bus stops, design report, traffic impact statement, final documentation.

MLEI collaborated with DIT to provide designs suited to the constraints of each site, such as minimising services disruptions, avoiding property boundary disturbance, and achieving adequate grading to meet DDA compliance.
