The Fullarton Road - Cross Road intersection upgrade project was aimed at reducing urban congestion, improving travel times and road safety, increasing intersection capacity and enhancing network reliability.

MLEI undertook the engineering review for this intersection, which included lane & footpath widths, through & turn lanes, cycle lanes, bus stop bays, pavements, batter slopes, island sizes, horizontal geometry, drainage & hydrology, and lighting.

As the Independent Internal Design Reviewer, MLEI worked closely with the principal consultant to deliver the design review in a timely fashion so that any proposed amendments could be effected within the overall design program.
