For the Kindee Crossing Suspension Bridge in NSW, which was nearing the end of its usable life, the Council initiated a Strategic Optioneering and Route Analysis to evaluate options for repair, upgrade, or replacement. Following this analysis and community input, the decision was made to construct a new bridge just south of the current structure.

MLEI provided the following services:

  • Engineering heritage including L2 inspection
  • Bridge design
  • Visualisations for council and community and stakeholder engagement.
