LYNDOCH ROAD UPGRADE

MLEI was engaged by Light Regional Council to undertake the detailed design for the road reconstruction of 5km of Lyndoch Road. The upgrade included lowering non-standard crests, removing a dangerous reverse curve approach to a road bridge and the realignment of a T-junction with Hentschke Road.

Our services included:

• Project Initiation – inception meeting, background information review & site visit, services checks and authority liaison, review of the concept design
• 70% Detailed Design Documentation – project team management and coordination, geotechnical investigation & pavement design, arborists investigation, 3d model generation, 70% civil design & documentation
• 100% Detailed Design – project team management and coordination, detailed civil design & documentation, tender documentation.

MLEI’s collaborative approach with Council ensured the project was delivered in alignment with road safety standards and with cost effective designs.
