UNITY HOUSING REDEVELOPMENT

Vacant land in Henley Beach South, formerly owned by the South Australian Housing Trust, was being redeveloped to create new social and affordable housing for low-income households, as well as market housing. This development replaced old and outdated public housing flats that were demolished in 2018. The redevelopment project included:
- 20 townhouses for market sale
- 27 townhouses and apartments for social and affordable rental
- 23 apartments for social housing rental targeted at senior housing tenants.
MLEI undertook the structural & civil design for 20 townhouses.
