MLEI undertook the civil and structural design of this custom-built warehouse and showroom, which included 2,200m² warehouse, 590m² mezzanine, 7m wide canopy at the rear of the warehouse, 2x 11m wide canopies at the east side of the warehouse and a 40-space car park.

Our services included:

  • Concept design – civil siteworks and drainage concept plan, structural concept design and sketch plans for costing purposes
  • 70% tender design – detail civil and stormwater design; structural design of warehouse, showroom, mezzanine and canopy structures; coordination with services consultant
  • 100% documentations for building permit – full civil construction drawings, structural engineering report and structural specifications, structural drawings for obtaining building permit, regulation 126 design certificate
  • Construction phase – respond to construction RFIs, site inspections, checking structural steel shop drawings for compliance.
