The Wybong Creek New Bridge project in NSW was successfully completed in 2021. Undertaken as part of the Mangoola Continued Coal Operations (MCCO) – Yarraman Road Upgrade project, this new bridge was designed to improve access and serviceability on Yarraman Road, catering to the needs of future industries in the Wybong region.

MLEI provided the following services:

  • Bridge concept and detailed structural design including a new alignment and a three-span type 5 super-T structure
  • Site visits
  • Bridge option development
  • Design criteria formalisation
  • Concept design reports and drawings
  • Estimation of construction costs

Construction commenced recently, and its expected completion is April 2025.
