The Gundagai Viaduct Strategic Options project, executed by MLEI Bridge Pty Ltd (MLEI) for Transport for NSW, John Holland, and UGL, was commenced in 2019.
This project involved a multifaceted approach, focusing initially on the viaduct’s engineering heritage, including listing on the State Heritage Register, heritage interpretation, and providing heritage assessment and advice.

MLEI provided the following services:

• Bridge inspection and assessment
• Stakeholder consultation
• Bridge design
• Bridge rehabilitation.
