MLEI was engaged to deliver the structural and civil engineering services for Autism SA's new purpose-built headquarters in the Tonsley Innovation District.

The facility, designed to support 120 permanent staff, features state-of-the-art sensory spaces, a gross motor skills room, consultancy and therapy rooms, life skills areas, and a rooftop conference room with an adjoining garden. The 2,000m² building, set within a 12m-wide easement, was fully fabricated to meet Autism SA's specific needs.

MLEI collaborated closely with the wider project team, including Platinum (builder), Piteo Architecture (architect), Secon (building services), and Chris Sale Consulting (quantity surveyor).
