MLEI undertook structural and CIVIL engineering design for the new Disability Unit modular building at Nuriootpa High School, which included 2 learning spaces, 3 sensory/flexible learning spaces, teacher preparation/meeting space, as well as toilet amenities for fully assisted, accessible and ambulant requirements.

Our services included:

• Civil siteworks and stormwater drainage
• Structural design of modular items – structural steel base frames and supporting stub columns, structural steel columns and roof member, lifting details to roof beams, brief and review of light gauge steel framing infill walls and trusses, temporary structural steel transport braces
• Structural design for non-modular items – footings, external ramps, steps and decking
• Construction phase services - steelwork shop drawing reviews, factory steelwork inspections and reports, site queries, site inspections and reports.
