This project is part of the SA Water $12 million upgrade of the North Le Fevre sewer network, which provides sanitation services to tens of thousands of homes and businesses in the seaside area. A refurbishment of SA Water’s Largs North Wastewater Pump Station was occurring in parallel with the installation of around 4.5 kilometres of new sewer main which connected the pump station to its counterpart in Ethelton.

MLEI undertook the detailed design of the new odour control plant at the existing Ethelton Pump Station. Our project scope included:
• Initial concept sketch for odour slab to coordinate plinths, pipes, traps, etc
• Detailed design – odour control slab, access platforms and stairs, shelters including footings and structure, 3x pipe supports, vent stack
• Odour control slab drawings for Review & Construction
• Calculation report.
