The 3.6ha former Le Cornu site in Forrestville is being redeveloped with:
- A market square with a full line supermarket, open-air cafes, eateries and specialist retailers including a flower bar and wellbeing centre/day spa
- 219 high-quality apartments across four towers (six, seven and eight storey) and 71 townhouses (two and three storey) providing opportunities across varying life stages and lifestyle
- 67 short-stay apartments to cater for tourism, corporate and wellbeing sectors
- An urban green school where students learn sustainable food production and urban farming
- A rooftop urban farm practicing regenerative agriculture, tended by the Urban Green School
- 30% open and green space, approximately half of which will be 24/7 publicly accessible land.
Our Residential Team undertook the structural and civil design at this site for 71x 2- and 3-storey townhouses.
Our Steel Framing Team implemented advanced structural approaches while ensuring structural integrity, and contributed to the development of phased construction methodologies to facilitate the staged delivery, in collaboration with the consortium team.
