DESCRIPTION New calcining building
PROJECT PERIOD 2021 - Present

MLEI undertook the structural and civil detailed design for the new calcining building at the existing CSR Wetherill Park facility. The project scope included:

• 6 levels of platforms to support the equipment
Walkways and stairs
• Supporting frames on calcining building to support conveyor BC07 from existing building, and
Supporting frames on existing building to support conveyor BC07 from existing building
• Platforms and stairs to access existing building from the conveyor walk way
10t monorail from inside the building to 3m outside the building
• Design of piles and thick slab to support the building
Design the foundation for the mill to achieve the requirements for the frequency
Design the gutters and downpipes
• Provide the structural and architectural documentation.
