MLEI undertook the structural and civil detailed design for the new gypsum upgrade at the existing CSR Wetherill Park facility.

The project scope included:

• New gypsum storage shed with dado walls, conveyor support, and steel tower for the bucket elevator.
• Intermediate platform for moving conveyor, with an access stair tower for support and maintenance.
• Conveyor support tower with piling foundations.
• Minor siteworks and stormwater discharge around the facility.

External Works:

• New conveyors and hoppers feeding a bucket elevator.
• Vibrating screen installation.
• Modifications to existing conveyors and stackers, including remedial works.
• Foundations for silos, vibrating screen, and conveyors.
• Concrete structures, including an apron for conveyors/hoppers and an external ground slab.
