Ahmad is a Chartered Professional Structural Engineer with 23 years’ experience within the engineering profession. Ahmad is the Small Projects Team Leader at MLEI, managing the small to medium structural projects.

Ahmad has extensive experience in the design and project management in Australia (8 years) as well as internationally across in United Arab Emirates (13 years) and Syria (2 years). In Australia, Ahmad specialised in structural design and assessment for water and bridge infrastructure, local government and residential projects. In the UAE, Ahmad specialised in the structural design and construction of concrete structures where he gained vast experience in the structural design and retrofitting for the concrete structures. Ahmad was also a Quality Manager representative who implementation ISO 9001:2008 at GEO Global Engineering Consultants in Dubai. In Syria, he gained experience in local government and education projects.

Ahmad has a Bachelor of Science, Civil & Structural Engineering in 2002 from Damascus University as well as an MBA from University of Atlanta.
