Allison has 31 years’ experience in Environmental Management, including 12 years in local government and 3 years in state government (EPA/DEHP, now DES). She joined MRA in 2011 as a Senior Environmental Consultant and was appointed Director in 2017. Allison brings a practical, dual-perspective understanding of regulatory requirements across both government and private sectors.

Allison specialises in environmental legislation, compliance advisory, environmental auditing and planning, and approvals for environmentally relevant activities. She has strong expertise in environmental project management, risk assessment, and monitoring, and excels in developing waste management plans, environmental management plans, site-based management plans, stormwater quality management plans, and NPI reporting.

Allison is a Qualified Lead Auditor (Exemplar Global Certification No. 119876) with expertise in Environmental Management Audits, EMS Audits, Environmental Report Verification, Compliance Audits, and Waste Auditing. She has also successfully implemented and maintained ISO 14001-certified Environmental Management Systems.

Prior to joining MRA, Allison worked in a range of roles within government, spannning regulatory roles, facilitating Council environmental performance for depots, quarries, landfills, and civil construction and maintenance activities, with a focus on waste management over the past six years in local government. In her previous position as Manager of Environmental Services for the former Beaudesert Shire Council, she oversaw the operation and maintenance of six waste management facilities, including one active landfill and five transfer stations.

Allison’s formal qualification include a Bachelor of Applied Science (Environmental Health) and she is a Qualified Lead Auditor (Exemplar Global Certification).
