Mark has 34 years of experience in bridges and structures and has worked for TfNSW, Rail, plus major Contractors and Consultants. Mark was the Regional Bridge Engineer for the then Roads and Traffic Authority in the Hunter Region for seven years between 2004 and 2010. Mark has extensive expertise in undertaking and managing complex designs, construction, maintenance, rehabilitation and demolition of road and rail bridges.
Mark’s experience covers all aspects of bridge management, from inspection, assessment, evaluations, load testing, risk and feasibility studies, constructability reviews and cost estimates. He has a specialist interest in heritage bridges, fatigue, innovative, practical solutions, and emergency and brownfield bridge works.
Mark is well known in the industry, playing a critical part in several projects receiving Engineering Excellence Awards and two Colin Crisp Awards. These projects include Duffs and Marlee, Swansea, Dunmore and Hinton Bridges, and Movable Span Study.
