Neil brings over 30 years of consulting engineering experience, gained through his work across Australia and the United Kingdom. A highly versatile engineer, Neil combines strong design expertise with comprehensive project management skills, specialising in projects spanning sport, recreation, aquatics, and community infrastructure.
Widely recognised as an expert in the design and delivery of complex sporting facilities, Neil has built a reputation for developing high-quality, practical, and cost-effective design solutions. His strength lies in understanding and responding to client needs, earning him the trust of global clients—including FTSE 100 companies, internationally recognised brands, and prestigious education institutions such as Geelong Grammar School.
Neil’s leadership experience includes over a decade managing and developing structural engineering teams. He has delivered a diverse range of projects, including the $30M Goulburn Sport Centre Redevelopment (NSW), various commercial and educational developments, extensive aquatic and recreation facilities, and the $45M scheme design for the La Trobe University Sports Facilities Upgrades in Melbourne.
Neil was also a founding director of Crackerjack Consulting Engineers, which has since joined MLEI Consulting Engineers, continuing his commitment to engineering excellence within a collaborative team environment.
