Ross is the General Manager of Linney Engineering Services – the Food & Beverage Division of MLEI Consulting Engineers, which specialises in wineries.

A highly experienced process engineer and project manager, he has amassed 22 years of expertise in winery engineering—spanning 16 years at Treasury Wine Estates and 6 years at Linney Engineering—along with 6 years in pulp and paper engineering.

Ross has extensive expertise in project management, successfully leading projects from initial concept and feasibility through to approvals, construction, commissioning, and final handover. His projects often involve complex, multi-disciplinary engineering solutions encompassing civil, structural, mechanical, process, and electrical components. His deep understanding of industry-specific requirements makes him a trusted expert in delivering efficient, high-quality solutions for complex requirements of food and beverage processing facilities, such as wineries.

Despite his extensive project management experience, Ross remains a chemical engineer at heart. He takes pride in tackling the intricate challenges of process design, optimising plant operations, and enhancing processing equipment performance. His ability to integrate technical expertise with practical engineering solutions ensures that each project meets operational needs while maintaining efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards.
