The redevelopment of the Adelaide Aquatic Centre delivered a major aquatic and recreation facility featuring eight pools designed for competition, recreation, learning, and rehabilitation. Facilities included a 50 m 10 lane indoor pool, 25 m outdoor pool with dive bowl and underwater rugby pitch, warm water rehabilitation and learn to swim pools, lagoon pool, splash zones, waterslides, and an outdoor splash pad. The centre also incorporates gym and wellness facilities including sauna and steam rooms.

We were engaged to deliver the structural design of pools shells, balance tanks along with hydraulic, filtration, and water treatment systems to support the complex multi pool aquatic environment:

  • 25m 6-lane outdoor pool with dive bowl, underwater rugby pitch and lagoon
  • Warm water pool for rehabilitation programs
  • Learn-to-swim pool
  • Indoor leisure waterplay with splash zones and waterslides
