Various KFC Restaurants
South Australia
Project Overview
Delivering a national restaurant programme requires structural systems that are efficient, repeatable and adaptable to different sites without compromising quality. We have provided structural engineering for more than 20 KFC restaurants across South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria, developing light gauge steel framing solutions that reduced reliance on conventional structural steel while supporting efficient fabrication and construction. The programme forms part of Collins Foods' continued investment in expanding and modernising its restaurant network across Australia.
Structural Engineering
- Optimised light gauge steel framing layouts to minimise conventional structural steel while maintaining structural performance
- Engineered bespoke framing solutions to accommodate varying site layouts, architectural requirements and operational standards across multiple locations
- Produced structural calculations, certification and detailed engineering documentation to support manufacture, approval and construction
- Worked closely with light gauge steel manufacturers and builders to coordinate fabrication, resolve construction issues and support efficient project delivery
- Provided ongoing engineering advice during construction, responding to RFIs and site conditions to maintain programme and build quality
