Ben Rice

Ben Rice
Ben leads MLEI with a clear focus on people, performance and disciplined project delivery.
As Group Managing Director, he guides the business through its next stage of growth while maintaining the technical standards and practical delivery mindset that have shaped MLEI's reputation. His role is focused on business improvement, team development, client relationships and the systems that support consistent outcomes across the group.
Before becoming Managing Director, Ben was part of MLEI's leadership team for more than 10 years. During that time, he helped shape the company's workplace culture, graduate and leadership development programs, and project delivery standards.
His engineering background gives him a grounded understanding of the decisions that influence project success. Today, Ben is focused on building capability across the business, supporting strong teams and ensuring MLEI continues to deliver with clarity, accountability and care.

Jim Nayler
Group Director
Jim Nayler
Jim brings operational discipline and commercial perspective to the people, systems and relationships that support MLEI's continued growth.
As Group Director and Group Chief Operating Officer, he helps align people, systems, client relationships and commercial priorities across the group. His role supports clear decision-making, coordinated delivery and the business processes that help teams respond with confidence.
Across more than 31 years in engineering management, team leadership and project delivery, Jim has worked across the built environment, defence, infrastructure and industrial sectors. His background includes market sector strategy, team development, customer relationship management and contract performance.
He also plays an important role in tender and proposal activity, helping position the business with discipline and purpose. Jim's focus is on strong operations, practical leadership and accountable delivery across MLEI.

Nicholas Murphy
Group Executive Chair
Nicholas Murphy
Nicholas provides strategic leadership grounded in sound judgement, strong governance and a long-term vision for sustainable growth.
As founding director of MLEI, he has helped shape the business from its early foundations into a national multidisciplinary consultancy. He led the company as Managing Director for more than 16 years, guiding its growth across South Australia, Victoria, the Northern Territory, New South Wales and Queensland.
In 2023, Nicholas moved into the role of Group Executive Chair. His focus is on governance, business resilience and the structures that support MLEI's next stage of growth in particular heading up merger and acquisitions.
His experience across engineering, construction, commercial property development, car leasing and credit financing gives him a practical view of risk, opportunity and commercial decision-making. Nicholas continues to support MLEI with calm leadership, disciplined oversight and a clear focus on sustainable growth.

Thomas Ha
Group Director
Thomas Ha
Thomas approaches structural engineering with a practical, solutions-focused mindset, combining strong technical judgement with a clear understanding of construction, buildability and project delivery.
As a Director and Senior Structural Engineer, Thomas leads the design and delivery of complex structural projects while contributing to project oversight, team mentoring, governance and operational leadership. His approach is hands-on, commercially aware and focused on delivering efficient, compliant and buildable outcomes for clients.
With more than 24 years' experience across engineering design, management and construction, Thomas has delivered projects spanning civil infrastructure, defence, commercial, industrial, power, mining, education and residential sectors. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer, Fellow of Engineers Australia, Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland and NSW Principal Design Practitioner in Structural Engineering.
Thomas is recognised for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to practical engineering solutions that give clients, project teams and stakeholders confidence from concept through to completion.

Sean Ebert
Group Non-Executive Director
Sean Ebert
Sean brings an independent commercial perspective, governance discipline and extensive experience scaling growth businesses to the MLEI Board.
As Group Non-Executive Director, he supports the business with strategic oversight shaped by experience across listed companies, private businesses and international markets. His role is focused on governance, commercial direction and the decisions that support sustainable growth.
Sean has more than 25 years' executive experience across engineering, technology and consumer goods sectors in Australia, the United States, Middle East and Europe. He is currently Managing Director of ASX-listed AML3D and holds Non-Executive Director roles across a range of Australian growth companies.
His background includes senior leadership roles with Worley, Camms and Profit Impact. Sean brings a broad commercial lens to MLEI, with a focus on disciplined growth, accountability and long-term business strength.

Belinda Wood

Belinda Wood
Belinda shapes the way MLEI presents its capability, communicates its value and positions the business for strategic growth.
As Marketing, she manages MLEI's proposals, brand positioning, marketing systems and external communications. She works closely with technical leaders and corporate services to bring structure, clarity and consistency to the way the group presents its expertise.
With more than 30 years' experience in the construction industry, Belinda brings deep capability across marketing, communications, stakeholder engagement and bid management. She has led brand and communication strategies, managed complex tender submissions and guided teams through fast-paced project environments.
She led MLEI's company-wide rebrand, bringing integrated businesses together under one brand, website and social media platforms. Belinda's work is focused on creating a clear, consistent and professional presence that reflects the strength of the group and supports its next stage of growth.

Chris O'Callaghan
National Engineering Manager
Chris O'Callaghan
Chris provides engineering leadership that strengthens technical consistency, operational performance and practical project delivery across MLEI.
As National Engineering Manager and General Manager Victoria, he supports the growth of the Melbourne office while leading teams through complex structural projects. His role combines project oversight, team leadership and the steady decision-making needed to deliver work with clarity and control.
Chris plays a pivotal role in strengthening MLEI's operational systems, helping align processes across the group and support consistent delivery across Australia.
His experience includes managing projects and teams across multi-storey buildings, education, commercial, residential, retail, industrial, water-related and civil infrastructure projects.
His holds Chartered Engineering, Registered Building Practitioner Vic, NT and QLD credentials.

Cameron Maxwell

Cameron Maxwell
Cameron builds trusted client relationships and identifies strategic opportunities that strengthen MLEI's national growth.
As Business Development Manager, he leads MLEI's national opportunity pipeline, working with technical leaders and market sector leads to identify new sectors, strengthen client relationships and shape strategic pursuits across the group.
Before moving into this national role, Cameron was Director of Hydraulics at OSKA. His career has been built across hydraulic services, project planning and design management, with experience spanning healthcare, commercial buildings, correctional centres, residential developments, education, hospitality, retail, aged care, marinas and leisure.
That technical background gives Cameron a practical understanding of client needs, project pressures and the decisions that shape successful outcomes. His focus is on building trusted relationships, opening new opportunities and supporting MLEI's coordinated growth across Australia.

Jessica Chesser

Jessica Chesser
Jessica brings strategic leadership, commercial discipline and practical thinking to the people, systems and operations that support MLEI's continued growth.
As Head of Corporate Services, she leads the teams, structure and processes that help the business operate effectively across teams and locations. Her role spans strategy, change management, quality systems, people processes, risk, compliance, information systems and operational improvement.
Jessica brings 21 years' industry experience across corporate services, project delivery, operations and business management. Her background includes national operations leadership, quality management, marketing strategy, business improvement and the implementation of tools that support safer, more efficient ways of working.
Her work aligns people, systems and business priorities so the group can operate with confidence and control. Jessica supports MLEI with calm leadership, clear frameworks and a practical understanding of what growing businesses need to perform well.

Linton Burns

Linton Burns
Linton provides strategic financial leadership, commercial discipline and the insight needed to support MLEI's long-term growth and business performance.
His work gives the group the financial oversight needed to make clear, accountable decisions. He leads across corporate finance, budgeting, commercial strategy, transactions, stakeholder engagement and governance.
With more than 38 years' experience across private and listed entities, Linton has held senior leadership roles including Managing Director, Executive Director, CFO, COO and Company Secretary. His background includes capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, high-value contract negotiations and organisational change.
He is focused on strengthening financial performance, supporting disciplined growth and giving the business the commercial insight needed to plan with confidence.

Tina brings financial discipline, operational consistency and trusted leadership to the systems that support MLEI's day-to-day performance.
In her role as Finance Manager, Tina manages core finance functions across the business, supporting accurate reporting, reliable processes and clear financial administration. Her work gives teams the structure and information needed to operate with confidence.
A key part of Tina’s contribution has been her role in the uptake of MLEI’s new national financial system. This work is bringing integrated businesses onto one platform, strengthening consistency, visibility and financial control across Australia.
Tina works closely with leadership and corporate services to maintain strong financial systems across the group. Her contribution supports MLEI’s growth by strengthening the financial foundations behind project delivery, business planning and operational performance.

Aaron Pianta
Gold Coast Manager
Aaron Pianta
Aaron brings practical civil engineering leadership, combining extensive technical expertise with a solutions-focused approach that helps clients and project teams confidently progress projects from planning through to construction.
As Gold Coast Manager at MLEI Group, Aaron leads a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects. In addition to overseeing the Gold Coast office, he provides strategic leadership across civil engineering delivery, with a focus on land development, project coordination, buildable design, and construction-phase support. His collaborative approach ensures clients, consultants, and project teams remain aligned from project inception through to successful delivery.
Prior to OSKA integrating with MLEI, Aaron was Civil Director at OSKA Consulting Group, where he led the civil engineering business and played a key role in the company's growth before its integration into MLEI. Over more than 20 years in the industry, he has delivered projects across residential and industrial land development, commercial developments, subdivisions, retirement villages, caravan parks, mining, and local government infrastructure.
Aaron is a Chartered Professional Engineer and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). He is recognised for delivering practical, commercially focused engineering solutions and for building high-performing multidisciplinary teams that consistently achieve successful outcomes for clients and communities

Adam Bruhn
Gold Coast Hydraulics Manager

Adam Bruhn
Adam has built his career from the tools through to hydraulic design leadership, bringing practical trade knowledge, technical expertise and a strong focus on construction-ready outcomes to every project.
He leads hydraulic design delivery with a focus on project control, team guidance and construction-ready outcomes. His role supports the hydraulic team across all stages of delivery, from early design through to documentation, site inspections and reporting.
Before OSKA was integrated into MLEI, Adam was Hydraulic Associate Design Leader at OSKA Consulting Group. His career began in 1993 as a plumber, drainer and gas fitter before moving into commercial site supervision, estimating and hydraulic consulting.
Across more than 30 years, Adam has worked across health, correctional, education, hotel, multi-residential, retail and civic projects. He uses that practical and technical background to guide teams, strengthen design quality and deliver hydraulic solutions that respond to the brief, the site and the realities of construction.

Ali Vahidzadeh
Adelaide Operations Manager
Ali Vahidzadeh
Ali brings experienced operational leadership, combining strategic thinking, technical expertise and strong team coordination to deliver complex projects with confidence.
At MLEI Group, Ali leads Adelaide operations with a focus on project performance, team alignment and technical decision-making. With a background in structural engineering, he brings a practical, design-led perspective to leadership, connecting people, resources and delivery priorities so teams can operate with clear direction and accountability.
Before joining MLEI, Ali held senior leadership roles including Operations Manager, Technical Director and Buildings Sector Leader. He has led large, multidisciplinary engineering teams across structural, civil, building services and building sciences, supporting major project delivery, business performance and strategic growth.
His experience spans major commercial, residential, defence, health, civic and cultural projects, including Adelaide Festival Square, Adelaide Aquatic Centre, Flinders Medical Centre Redevelopment, Adelaide Oval Hotel, Adelaide Airport Hotel and Indigo Hotel. He has also delivered work across oil and gas and mining sectors.
Ali supports clients and teams by bringing structure to complex challenges. His leadership focuses on clear planning, collaboration and sound technical judgement to guide projects from early design decisions through to successful delivery.

Allison Reiser
Environment Manager QLD

Allison Reiser
Allison brings practical environmental leadership, combining regulatory expertise with clear advice that helps clients confidently navigate complex environmental requirements.
Within MLEI Group, Allison leads environmental consulting work with a focus on environmental management, approvals, compliance advice and auditing. Her role supports clients through the technical and regulatory decisions that shape responsible project delivery.
Before MRA became part of MLEI Group, Allison was a Director and Senior Environmental Scientist at MRA Environmental. She joined MRA as a Senior Environmental Consultant in 2011 and became a Director in 2017. Her background also includes 12 years in local government and three years in state government environmental regulation.
Allison’s experience spans environmental legislation, compliance advice, environmental auditing and environmentally relevant activity approvals. At MLEI, she helps guide project teams and clients through approvals, licencing, permits, environmental management, waste and resource recovery, monitoring, ecological services and auditing.
Her work brings structure to complex environmental requirements. Allison supports clients with clear advice, practical pathways and the regulatory insight needed to move projects forward with confidence.

Jason Clements
Bridge General Manager
Jason Clements
Jason leads complex bridge and infrastructure projects with a practical, delivery-focused approach, combining engineering expertise with strong project, procurement and contract management experience.
He leads MLEI’s Bridge Division, guiding project teams across bridge and transport infrastructure work. His role spans program and project management, procurement, contract management, civil design, construction and design management.
His technical background covers rail, roads and pavements, bridges, hydrology and hydraulics, bulk earthworks and geotechnical work. As a project manager, Jason has managed projects ranging from $2.5 million to $1 billion.
Jason supports clients with structured delivery, clear communication and practical project leadership from early planning through to procurement, construction and commissioning.

He leads MLEI’s Queensland operations, supporting the alignment of Gold Coast and Brisbane teams within the broader group. His role focuses on operational leadership, team coordination and the continued growth of MLEI’s presence across Queensland.
Before OSKA was integrated into MLEI Group, Jason was a Founding Director of OSKA Structural Consultants. His experience spans structural and civil engineering across a broad range of sectors in Australia and overseas.
Jason’s passion lies in fostering high-performing teams, cultivating a positive culture and driving innovation through practical project delivery. He thrives on connecting people, mentoring future leaders and strengthening the operational success of MLEI’s Queensland projects.
He brings a strong understanding of business leadership, client relationships and disciplined operations. This supports the continued growth of MLEI’s civil, structural, hydraulic, aquatic and environmental capability across Queensland.

Lasse Madsen

Lasse Madsen
Lasse combines critical engineering thinking with practical construction expertise to deliver innovative, buildable solutions for complex marine, bridge and temporary works projects.
Lasse leads MLEI Group’s marine and specialist structural capability, with a focus on constructable solutions for complex infrastructure environments. His work spans design leadership, team coordination, contractor support and the practical decisions needed to move projects from concept through to construction.
Before Madsen Giersing became part of MLEI Group, Lasse was CEO and Principal Engineer of Madsen Giersing. Over more than 20 years, he has led design and documentation teams across public and private sector projects, including major marine facilities, bridges, sports stadiums and industrial facilities.
His experience includes supporting contractors with construction methodology, temporary works and alternative design solutions. Lasse applies this practical understanding to help clients resolve complex engineering problems with clear, economical and construction-ready outcomes.

Michael Bossy
Winery Food + Beverage Operations Manager
Michael Bossy
Michael combines practical engineering expertise with a deep understanding of how winery, food and beverage facilities operate, helping clients deliver efficient, reliable and high-performing projects from concept through to commissioning.
Michael leads winery food and Beverage operations within MLEI Group, supporting projects from early planning through to design coordination, procurement, construction management and site delivery.
Before Linney Engineering Services (LES) became part of MLEI Group, Michael was Operations Manager and Senior Designer and Drafting Manager at LES. He joined the business in 2007 after beginning his career at Beca, where he developed his foundation in structural drafting for food and beverage projects.
His experience across industrial design gives him a strong understanding of production environments, operational constraints and construction-phase detail. Michael works closely with clients and project teams to ensure design accuracy, project constructions remains practical, on schedule and aligned with the operational needs of each facility.

Ross Wilkinson

Ross Wilkinson
Ross combines specialist process engineering expertise with a practical understanding of winery, food and beverage operations, delivering solutions that improve efficiency, reliability and long-term performance.
Ross leads MLEI’s winery, food and beverage capability in South Australia, with a focus on client relationships, project direction and operationally sound outcomes. His background as a process engineer and project manager gives him a practical view of production flow, facility performance and long-term operational requirements.
Before Linney Engineering Services became part of MLEI Group, Ross was General Manager of Linney Engineering Services. He joined Linney in 2019 after extensive experience in the wine industry, including project management roles with Treasury Wine Estates.
Ross works closely with clients and project teams to shape coordinated solutions that are commercially considered, practical to deliver and aligned with the needs of each production environment.

Ryan Thyer

Ryan Thyer
Ryan leads with practical thinking, strong relationships and sound engineering judgement, underpinned by a clear understanding of client objectives, early risk management and structural solutions that are technically robust and practical to construct.
He leads MLEI’s Adelaide structural team, supporting technical delivery, team coordination and project outcomes across a broad range of building and infrastructure work. His role brings together design oversight, client communication and the day-to-day leadership needed to keep projects moving with clarity.
As a Senior Structural Engineer and Associate, Ryan contributes to projects through detailed technical input and steady project leadership. His work supports practical, buildable structural solutions that respond to the brief, the site and construction requirements.
Ryan’s focus is on guiding teams, maintaining strong technical standards and helping clients move through structural decisions with confidence.

Before OSKA was integrated into MLEI Group, Travis was part of OSKA’s structural team, contributing to the company’s growth and project delivery capability.
Known for a practical and lateral approach to problem solving, Travis works closely with clients, consultants and construction teams to resolve challenges early and keep projects moving with clarity and control.

Trent Purdon

Trent Purdon
Trent brings practical civil engineering expertise and a solutions-focused approach, helping clients deliver infrastructure and land development projects with confidence from planning through to construction.
Trent manages civil engineering delivery for MLEI’s Gold Coast team, with a focus on infrastructure, urban development and practical project outcomes. His work supports clients through feasibility, design coordination, approvals, documentation and construction-phase delivery.
Before OSKA was integrated into MLEI Group, Trent was a Director at OSKA Consulting Group. His earlier experience includes Director of Knobel Consulting, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil from Queensland University of Technology.
His approach is grounded in practical civil design, stakeholder coordination and clear delivery pathways. Trent helps project teams resolve constraints early so sites can move forward with confidence, control and a strong understanding of construction requirements.

Tuan Nguyen

Tuan Nguyen
Tuan builds successful infrastructure projects through collaborative leadership, sound engineering judgement and a commitment to coordinated project outcomes.
Tuan manages MLEI’s civil engineering team in Adelaide, supporting multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across government, local government and private sector work. His role brings together team leadership, technical review, client communication and practical delivery oversight.
With 27 years’ experience, Tuan’s background spans highway engineering, municipal engineering and land development. His work is grounded in a strong understanding of infrastructure requirements, approvals pathways and the coordination needed to move projects through design and delivery.
Tuan supports clients and project teams with clear advice, steady leadership and practical civil engineering judgement. His approach helps projects progress with confidence, control and a strong understanding of long-term infrastructure outcomes.

Sam Kotanidis
Residential Manager

Sam Kotanidis
Sam works closely with builders and project teams, bringing extensive residential engineering experience and a strong understanding of the planning and coordination required to deliver efficient outcomes across high-volume housing developments.
He manages MLEI’s Residential Engineering Division, leading a team that delivers structural and civil design for homes, extensions, residential estates and multi-dwelling developments. The division also provides on-site wastewater design, site supervision and structural certifications.
Over 25 years, Sam has built deep experience across residential, commercial and industrial engineering. Under his leadership, MLEI’s residential division has grown into one of South Australia’s largest residential engineering consultancies, delivering high-volume designs for single, double and triple-storey homes, as well as bespoke architect-designed residences.
Sam works closely with builders, developers and architects to keep residential design practical, economical and aligned with each site.

Sam Schmidt

Sam Schmidt
Sam has developed specialist expertise in light gauge steel framing, helping builders, manufacturers and project teams maximise the efficiency, coordination and performance of modern building systems.
Sam manages MLEI’s Steel Framing Division, guiding design delivery across residential and commercial projects. His work supports efficient, buildable steel framing solutions, with a focus on technical quality, documentation control and construction-ready outcomes.
With 19 years’ engineering experience across Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, Sam has developed strong capability in product development, anchors and fasteners, passive fire protection and residential structural engineering. MLEI’s steel framing capability also carries the history of Ginos Engineering, which joined MLEI in 2017.
Sam works closely with builders, manufacturers and project teams to deliver steel framing systems that are practical, efficient and aligned with construction needs.

Adam McMillan

Adam McMillan
Adam brings a collaborative, design-led approach to structural engineering, helping architects, clients and project teams resolve complex challenges early and deliver practical, buildable outcomes.
As a Principal Structural Engineer with more than 29 years’ experience leading civil and structural engineering teams in South Australia. His work spans over prominent commercial buildings, aged care, education, health, offices, retail, sporting facilities and heritage projects.
His experience covers steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete and timber structures, with strong capability in upfront concept design, multi-disciplinary coordination and project management.
Adam works closely with design teams and clients to shape functional, economical and well-coordinated project solutions. His approach brings clarity to complex problems while supporting safe, practical and buildable outcomes.

Clive Cowdell
Senior Structural Engineer
Clive Cowdell
Clive draws on extensive structural engineering experience and measured technical judgement to help clients and project teams resolve complex design challenges with clarity and confidence.
Across more than five decades, Clive has worked on marine structures, residential apartments, hotels, resorts, commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. His capability spans high-rise concrete structures, precast concrete facades, heavy structural steelwork, foundations, basement construction, auditoria and grandstands.
His career includes senior roles in Australia, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom, including Associate, Associate Director, Director, Branch Office Manager and Resident Site Engineer positions.
Recent work has focused on marine projects in Queensland, including ferry terminals, pontoons, jetties, fishing platforms and riverbank remediation. Clive brings calm technical depth to projects where experience, constructability and long-term performance matter.

James O'Connor

James O'Connor
James brings specialist expertise in bridge and infrastructure engineering, helping asset owners extend the performance, resilience and service life of critical transport infrastructure through considered rehabilitation and renewal strategies.
Working across bridge, road, rail and major infrastructure projects, spanning feasibility, strategic planning, design, construction, maintenance, rehabilitation, and commissioning. His role includes technical leadership, project management, contract administration, procurement, site investigation, workshop facilitation, independent verification, engineering assessment and expert witness services.
With more than 33 years’ experience in the bridge and infrastructure sector, including 10 years with Transport for NSW, James brings expertise in bridge rehabilitation, durability, strengthening, heritage structures, and movable bridges. He helps asset owners extend service life and maximise the performance of existing infrastructure through practical rehabilitation and renewal strategies.
James supports clients with commercially focused advice that balances safety, quality, constructability, whole-of-life performance and long-term asset value.

Mark Tilley

Mark Tilley
Mark brings specialist bridge engineering expertise and strong technical judgement, helping clients and project teams solve complex challenges across bridge design, assessment and asset management.
His experience covers all aspects of bridge management, including inspection, assessment, evaluation, load testing, risk and feasibility studies, constructability reviews and cost estimates. He has specialist interest in heritage bridges, fatigue, emergency works, brownfield bridge projects and practical innovation.
Mark is well known across the industry, with his work contributing to projects recognised through Engineering Excellence Awards and two Colin Crisp Awards. His experience spans road, rail and asset management environments, from feasibility assessment through to design, construction and long-term asset management.
His approach is grounded in practical engineering judgement and a strong understanding of existing assets. Mark supports project teams with clear advice, considered design thinking and solutions that balance safety, constructability and long-term performance.

Pawel approaches structural engineering with careful analysis, believing the best outcomes are achieved when technical precision, construction practicality and sound engineering judgement are considered together.
Pawel works across structural engineering projects with specialist capability in light gauge steel framing and building systems. He supports clients and project teams through design decisions that balance compliance, efficiency, buildability and confidence on site.
With more than 23 years of experience across Poland, Ireland, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia, Pawel has delivered award-winning residential, commercial and public buildings. Neil is a specialist sports and recreation engineer who combines strong design expertise with comprehensive project management skills across high performance sport, recreation, aquatic and community infrastructure projects.
His work spans public sports and health facilities, elite training environments, aquatic centres, recreation facilities, education, commercial and institutional developments. Neil's specialist expertise includes commercial aquatic facilities, pool structures, hydraulic systems, plantroom design, water treatment, water chemistry, refurbishments and remedial advice.
A Founding Director of Crackerjack Consulting Engineers prior to its merger with MLEI in May 2023, Neil brings more than 35 years of consulting engineering experience across Australasia and the United Kingdom. He has led multidisciplinary teams on major projects including the Sydney Sporting Club at the Sydney Cricket Ground, New Adelaide Aquatic Centre, Northern Aquatic and Community Hub and Sydney Football Club Elite Training Facility.

Raza Malik

Raza combines practical civil engineering expertise with a passion for building trusted client relationships, developing high-performing teams and growing MLEI's civil capability.
Raza leads MLEI's civil business across the Northern Territory and Victoria, while supporting the group's national civil growth targets. His role brings together client engagement, strategic pursuits and project delivery with the day-to-day realities of running a business, team management, project bidding, recruitment, quality and culture, underpinned by genuine, hands-on technical experience.
Since joining MLEI in 2019, Raza has contributed to major projects across the Northern Territory and Victoria and remains hands-on in engineering delivery alongside his leadership responsibilities. His engineering and construction experience spans defence, state and local government infrastructure, utilities, road and transport, water and wastewater, remote infrastructure and housing, and property development. Working across many clients, authorities and utilities, including real exposure to buildings work, has given Raza a genuinely rounded understanding of how planning and delivery phases connect on the ground.
Over the past decade, Raza has held key leadership roles, including within MLEI, contributing to team growth, financial performance, sector expansion, branding and culture. He has also represented the industry on executive committees relating to engineering and construction, including UDIA and Consult Australia.
