The new Pedestrian Actuated Crossing on Mount Barker Road was designed to improve pedestrian safety and connectivity at Beerenberg Farm in Hahndorf. The site is a busy tourist destination, so the design needed to support safer movement for visitors while responding to traffic conditions on a key road corridor.
