Project Overview
Developed to relieve congestion at Port Moresby's existing container terminal, the Motukea International Wharf expanded Papua New Guinea's container handling capacity through a new deep-water port facility on Motukea Island. MLEI partnered with Curtain Bros to deliver the detailed structural design of the 250 metre land-backed wharf and associated marine infrastructure, supporting container vessels of up to 45,500 DWT.
