Oaklands Green

The Oaklands Green redevelopment transformed the former 16.5-hectare SA Housing Authority site into one of South Australia's largest social housing regeneration projects in more than 20 years.

Delivered through a partnership between the community sector and the South Australian Government, the development will provide more than 450 market-ready homes, including affordable housing through the HomeSeeker program and 235 homes for the SA Housing Authority, while targeting one of the state's highest Green Star ratings through sustainable design and renewable energy initiatives.

MLEI provided civil engineering services for the recycled water, potable water and sewer infrastructure across Stages 1, 3 and 4, including concept design of the recycled water network, detailed design of potable water headworks, project engineering and service authority coordination, and the review and update of the Stormwater Management Master Plan for the entire development.
