Tonsley Hotel

The six-storey hotel development at the Tonsley Innovation District delivers 15 one-bedroom apartments, 73 studio suites, premium guest amenities, and a ground floor bar and dining venue showcasing South Australian food and wine.

MLEI provided the civil and structural engineering design, including a post-tensioned transfer floor at Level 1, an efficient steel beam and post system supporting a metal deck slab, and precast stair and lift cores.

The development was designed to operate using green energy, incorporating rooftop solar connected to the Main Assembly Building and the blended hydrogen gas network supplied through Hydrogen Park.
