Waroo Bridge

Built in 1909, the original Warroo Bridge had reached the end of its service life and could no longer accommodate modern agricultural machinery or heavy vehicles. MLEI delivered engineering heritage services and the design of a new 57 metre, three span Super T bridge that provides a safer, more resilient crossing while recognising the heritage significance of the original structure. Delivered as part of the Bridges for the Bush program, the project improves network reliability and provides a design life exceeding 100 years.
