Yarrabah Jetty

The Yarrabah Jetty was developed to improve transport connectivity between Cairns and Queensland's largest Indigenous community while providing a shared facility for ferry services and public recreation. MLEI provided detailed design and technical support for the marine structures, delivering a resilient jetty and pontoon designed to withstand the demanding environmental conditions of Mission Bay.

The Yarrabah Jetty is a combined ferry terminal and community jetty that allows for a ferry service to be provided as an alternative to the approximately 1-hour road trip between Cairns and Yarrabah.
